A little about me ~~

     I was born and raised in a small town in dead center Minnesota, the seventh of eight children.  While growing up, I usually left the story telling to my four brothers and pretty much kept my nose clean between the covers of books.  My brothers would likely have another story to tell, but since this isn't their website ... 

      Several years into an accounting career (strange, I know, I'm a CPA) and a couple children later, I started putting fingers to the keyboard at every free moment.  Writing books.  How cool is that?

      I wrote four manuscripts, was nominated three times for a Romance Writers of America's Golden Heart award and won numerous other regional contests before Harlequin bought my third book, TREASURE, which was nominated in two categories for Romance Writer's of America's most prestigious award, the RITA.  Now I can't imagine doing anything else.

      Though I sometimes dream (usually in February) of living somewhere with less snow and more moderate temperatures, I still live happily ever after in Minnesota with my family.
